I hate frames for all the reasons you outlined..... and also for the fact that many websites DO NOT LET YOU IN if you don't have a browser that support frame! I give some websites an honorable mention if at their front page they give you the option of a FRAMED or NO-FRAMES version. At least we have a choice here... but I absolutely HATE websites that when you click on them you get the tersely rude message YOUR BROWSER DOES NOT SUPPORT FRAMES so upgrade now! That sucks!!!!!!!

look at . Not all people hate frames however.

2 choices with or without frames .This way

In my whole life (19 yrs)I have almost never seen
a site using frames in a good way. I think that normally
frames suck. But usually people using frames are
so stupid that they don't even manage to use the
bloody shit in a good way!

Several of my close friends have personal homepages that feature frames, and I find this to be a tragic thing. It's like watching your friend stand on a traintrack, waiting to be run down...it hurts me so, but what can I say? No matter what I say, they say, "But it's cool, it's new, and it looks sharp." Well, lemmie tell you something, MY page looks pretty damn sharp, and I didn't download any special graphics, add wav files, and I most definitely did NOT add frames. All the graphics on my page were made by ME with a bitmap editor, and later changed into jpegs using LViewPro. Oh, and I intend to add some scanned pictures once, I get that worthless scanner of mine working again. I have this to say...if people would put something worth looking at on their pages (this doesn't include my friends, they have interesting pages), they wouldn't NEED frames! Can I get an AMEN? Cann I get a HALLAUHYA? Can I get a WITNESS, brothers and sisters?
