They are annoying and sloppy and badly over-used (there are some good uses for them but I seldom see them used properly or tastefully, kidz usually just use them 'cause they're "kewl" is all! But they're not, they're a royal pain in the butt!!!!


Hey and while we're at it why don't we start an "I hate Java" club and a "People who start their pages out by saying 'if you don't have Netscape go away and come see my Totally Kewl site when you Do' are Lamers" club, too! *grin!*

Frames drive me crazy even when they *don't*
crash my browser. They are hard to navigate,
nothing ever fits, and I can't see properly
in those tiny boxes. :( And have you ever
followed a link and gotten frames within

What an annoying feature...
You are forced to load multiple pages at the same time, making everything slower, Often they stick to your browser like glue, making it near impossible to bookmark a non frames page properly (what's even worse is frames that stick on a page with more frames...
Really, they have only one purpose, and that's being a nice littleunnoticable thing to put an embedded midi on to make nice background music for a final fantasy page, and it doesn't stop when you load another page...
Other than that, they suck harsh.

I really hate those things, because I am
forced to split me screen just like the stupid
designer likes it. That's not the spirit of
WWW. One can divide homepages without
frames. The designers should leave the frames
in their head.

They suck. The only purpose they have is to
slow down the time it takes to load pages
and to inflate the egos of webmasters who
lack enough originality to organize a page
without sectioning it off. Frames and the
people who use them on their sites insult the
intelligence of individuals who do not suffer

Here at SHS, our internet computer only
has 4 megs of RAM. While viewing sites with
lots of graphics, our computer stalls.

When my page started I had frames. But they were useless
and people get stuck trying to link somewhere
