I think, frames are the most useless little
gizmo that netscape ever built in its
browsers. They do not have any practical
function on your web site, except of making
you scream about your telephone bill.
I think frames are a nice little toy for
users who think: "What they do on the
microsoft page, i can do myself, too." But
for a websurfer who has to wait until every
little graphics frame is loaded, frames are
a real plague.
By the way: In German we say "Ich hasse
frames!"

They're annoying! Frames, as far as I can see, only limit the professionalism of your web page. It makes them look childish, as if you couldn't think of anything else to do. A substitute for the "annoying frame option" would be to learn how to use TABLES.

I hate frames couse people with frames donŽt let you out of them. You may follow a link to a very cool site, and you want to bookmark it but you cant couse your in a frame!! Many are
those who dont understand this and dont put their web-adress on the web-page.
AND since everybody have frames - after following a few links youŽll end up with a tinyviny little window left! I have a only a 10" screen in the first place... it gets redicilously small!!

It'd be one thing if they restricted frame use to the
people who knew how to use them and could take

It's as easy to use frame-free sites than that frame-overloaded crap, cause you know where you go if you click on something. On those frame-sites I sometimes simply get lost!

I hate the way they take forever to load and usually crash before they are finished loading.
In addition, things never seem to fit properly inside the frame that they are in. It just looks bad most of the time.

Frames are ridiculous!

I browse with graphics off and usually sites load fast, but sometimes I just feel it - there is blank page and hard drive begins to whirr - the frame is coming.
Usually I just hit 'Back' button at this time before it's too late.

Good thing some sites have 'no frames' option. Those that don't will not see me as a reader.

Aside from speed problems, navigations is a pain in the fourth point of contact - ^O doesn't work properly and frame keeps wasting part of the screen even when I don't want to look at it.

Back in the days of Internet Explorer 2.0, I mostly used Netscape and when I would hit a frame site, I'd start IE 2.0 and view it without the nasty things.
It is tougher now - IE 3.0 supports frames and I am desperately looking for some way to disable that "support".

I thought I was the only frame-hater out here.
I have been planning on a "I hate Java" Java page
and a "I hate Frames even worse" Frames page since
last October for my website (if you don't believe me,
drop by and see). When I first saw your site today
I went nuts. YOU STOLED MY IDEA!!! Can I still be a
member if I use frames to illustrate why I hate frames.
My plan has been to have my IHF frames page up with
my Jan Issue. Hope to see our pages linked together.
