THEY SUCK. And people OVERUSE them! Knock
it off
Steve
They suck, especially if they are programed so that my browser (unfortunately MS IE) cannot print the part of the page I want. Instead at dolcevita.com, it printed the frame, which is useless.
Jack Norton
Hi. Tried to submit the I.H.F.C. membership form, but it looks like our line
to the outside is down... again... or maybe the name server is down...
again.... In any event, would like to be counted as a frame despiser. I'll
never see a frames site as the author intended, and I'm sure it would be
quite impressive, but that's all beside the point. I roam the 'net to find
things out. Text rules.
Thanks, and nice work.

I don't believe there is a whole web site for people who are just not smart enough to figure out how to properly use their browser.
Hi U Idiots
I hate frames.
Leif Ericsson
Well, I can't think of anything positive
right now, soo... they suck.
Antti Brax
Frames are causing me to develope ulcers.
I can't stand not having control of where I want
to go after I click on one of those.
Rod Ski
Navigational nightmare....
I dont like others controling how the pages
are set ,new browser windows opened etc
Alice Kelly Preston
They suck!
Jorn Storli
Frames are just a useless way for creators
of HTML documents to "flex their muscles" so
to speak. Due to the advent of more powerful
HTML editors, a lot of people can create sites
with frames in their sleep. even if I had
access to a T-1 connection and didn't have
to wait forever for framed sites to load, I
would still hate them. The content of a site
is completely ruined by those stupid teeny
tiny little windows one is left with to view
the main contents. Plain and simply, Frames
suck hard!
Dave Ingland
I totally agree with you, those frames
try to squeeze everything and the bars
themselves that seperate the frames have
to be so damn big ..
Et3rn
I compare frames to be eaten alive by a gorrila.
They suck! Frame despisers UNITE!
Kate
Frames make surfing the net turn into
a show off competition, and we are
stuck in the middle.
Tristan Rhodes
Just say no!
I absolutely positively cannot stand frames!!!
Ryan Studzinski
Frames suck. Sometimes you will hit the back button
and it will send me to porno page I was looking at
before. This seems to hapen at the most inopportune
moments. Frames SUCK!!
Tom Shannon
I think they suck...that's all.
Thay clutter up your browser, and people don't even know what in the hell is happening to them...
Payphone Phreak

Mummy says to me that frames are bad things. Sure they did.

FRAMES SUCK!!
They just annoy the heck out of me.
They're always to small, and sometimes you can
accidentally click on the border of one and make
portions of the page disappear, which is really
helpful. Also, the back and forward buttons on
Netscape are rendered utterly useless. I think
frames is just another way for computer geeks
to try to impress the people who only use computers
as a hobby, not a life.
Tom Steele
Whoever designed frames should be keel-hauled behind a power boat!!
Steve Mahoney
The suck and should be erraticated
Chris Fabien
They are the biggest waste of a good browser
ever invented. Why do they exist. 1 good reason please.....
Wayne R. Howard
I decided my site needed frames,
So I started to design it - as I was working
on it I couldn't, for the life of me, figure
out why I needed it - what would be its
advantage? Except to trap a visitor in my
frame - which might be fun but might make
some visitors never return).
If I ever figure out what the
advantage is, maybe I'll finish it.
james w felter
What's the point...frames cause
clutter, and slow load, they also
make it harder to navigate a page,
they don't add a thing to content
and creativity. CONTENT IS KING!
David "T"-Thoshinsky
get a framless life dude.
If people have to use frames, then they should have a
non-frames option so the browser doesn't crash.
Teresa Altruda
Frames suck... Why is it that nobody seems to be able to figure this out?
Andy Brennan
A plague!
Unfortunately, we have some clients who think
that frames are "nifty", so I'll have to use
some on our site.
Any advice?
Richard Halstead
Frames are incredibly annoying. When I finally do put my web site up, there will be no frames within a mile of it, I assure you.
Mike Rose
I have someting to say about FRAMES...
Frames SuCK!
:)
Tom Brown
frames...Who needs them?? NOT ME!!
Farhan AMIT Sattar
HTML was designed to transcend technicalvariations in document presentation ondifferent platforms, such as text screens, graphical user interfaces, and hardcopydevices. At an early stage, the designersrecognized the need for HTML elements withlogical semantics (header, passage, emphasis)rather than visual characteristics (typeface, italics, slant, indentation). The former areused to provide structure to information, andthe latter to control formatting. They don'tblend well together, since an HTML client mayultimately use visual attributes to indicatedocument structure in a way tailored for theindividual user. Furthermore, visualattributes tie the user to a particularhardware set-up. It's similar to the 3-Dmovies of the fifties requiring the audienceto sit straight and wear special glasses. One might hope information processing wouldhave made some progress in 40 years.I have yet to see someone explain thestructural semantics of the "frames" concept.Until then, it serves no other purpose thanto hide the information content behind thecontrols of the tool.By the way, the "table" concept is alsogrossly abused. The HTML source code ofthese "anti-frames" pages certainly isn'ta pleasure to read either. To be really fair, I think people who likeframes should be provided with a forum forcomments and a club, too.
Anders Andersson
Foo?
Nobody told me I had to format my own paragraphs... :-)
I'm glad I found a group like this. I used to work with
an ISP, and web making was one of the jobs. Needless to say
2 very strong-willed camps formed, those supporting frames, those
hating them. Unfortunately The FRAMES crowd won out, but now that
there is this group I feel a bit better. The site isn't THAT bad, not as bad as SOME
frames sites, and shoot, the ISP is damn good anyway (shameless plug). Check it out if you
dare. DSS Online. And I am honored to be part of such a splendid CLUB as this!!! Frames Suck!

invented them
Paul Heenan
Go to HELL
i am using a browser that does not support them, so they suck..
Golden Mongoose
I think anyone using frames is an idiot. What's the point?
The only place why I actually like having frames(I hope I
don't get kicked out for saying this)is in a chat room.
Trevis Smith
If there is one thing I absolutely hate about frames is that they take too long to load with Microsoft Internet Explorer! I had to download Netscape just to get rid of the stupid problem! The government should abolish frames forever!
Peter Anderson
Ever since I saw a page that have 9 (I am not joking) different lil boxes that you had to try and look at all at once...I despise frames.
Jaime
Frames remind me of another GREAT idea we once
had, the two dollar bill! I'd like to meet the
little academic spud that dreamt up that RFC!
Bite ME!
Jeffrey Evangelist
They make the pages look cluttered.
Rob Milsaps
The worst thing ever...

Laura Lee
Yo tambien odio los "frames".
Manolo Franco
Frames are annoying, misslinked and rudely
overrun on people who don't even have the
possibility for frames. I mean, think fucking
twice before placing a frame on your site.
Harry Nyberg
I HATE them
Gabriel Roura
Frames are the worst thing since un-sliced bread. They have crashed my browser countless times, caused me to not be able to see the address of the current site I am on by shelling me there, and made my " <- BACK " button almost as useful as a, well, a site with frames.
Mindwave
hahaha
I just hate it...
