I design web pages, poring over the HTML and graphics to make a unified site. If one more person tells me "gee, I want frames. They're so handy and professional-looking," I might just have to hurt them. Frames are about as "handy and professional-looking" as FrontPage.

did you ever notice that sometime when you click on links in frame the link will show up in the wrong frame?? then its all small and stupid. frames are so stupid. they make everything all little or if people dont at least have the deceny to make things smaller than you always have to scroll back and forth to read the page. poo poo to frames!

I think they really blow...to me there is no point..half the time the frames screw up anyway...the become a real pain in the ass when they arent made right and you push the back button all hell breaks loose...thats just my 2 cents on frames...

Frames suck because they take perfectly good pages and butcher them...
It's really annoying to go to a page with a large graphic or page in a frame and have to click until my mouse is a puddle of molten plastic to see it.

What can I say that hasn't been said? I find it REALLY damn annoying to be in a website that has frames and I click on a link that is a GOOD sight (yet STUCK in frame format) and I have to SEARCH for the address to the sight so I can either A bookmark it or B give the address to someone else as a reference page. Us folks that hate frames should unite together and DEMAND people to ask us for a "link" to our page and if they have frames, DENY them a link and tell them EXACTLY why, because FRAMES BITE!!!!

I really don't like frames, but I hate pages that take a long time to load, in general (i.e. huge gif files!!!). My new page design will have frames for those who like them cuz it's a search engine, but left will be the "I hate frames" logo, for a NO FRAMES VERSION. Every page tempted to use frames should do this!!!
