A suggestion: Lets piss on the frames and go to http://window.to/ where you can get a name of your own choice added to the "window.to/" ... then add an html code to the homepage which automatically breaks out you out of the frames!... then the benefits window.to get wont be there anymore!!

Nowadays, people who use frames are doing it only because they discovered how to
do it and to gave themselves importance.
"Look here, I've got a multiframed page ! I'm an HTML expert !"
There are a lot of ways to substitute the frames advantages respecting people with a slower connection (wich represents the most part of the Internet surfers):
for example, the Netscape 4.0's LAYERS (on the same page, that can provide other interesting dynamical effects, transparency, superposition etc.)
Anyway, the minimal decency act that multiframed pages' owners can offer
is warning before the entrance in a multiframed page.

I am sure glad to find this Site. I have started all over again to try some Web Site Developement. It's like starting over. My computer is slow enough as it is, why the hell should I stop it just to look at your 'spiffy' menu-bar!? I know how to program it, but after how I feel when I run into frames, why would I want to inflict it upon anyone else? Basic HTML is the way to go (and a couple plug-ins now and again), frames are bad.

Frames are so often abused that I have decided to stay away from them completely. As an HTML programmer, I always recommend to my clients that they not use frames on their sites. There simply isn't much you can do with frames to make your site any better.
