I think frames suck. It is a pain in the butt and it wastes a lot of loading time.... My page HAD frames, but i even hated using them. So on my page i put " the frames aren't working now" just so people who "like" frames will keep comming to my site to see if I "fixed" it yet.

Waste of web space and bandwidth. If you can't say all you want in one page that fits into any screensize then your head needs reattaching. What is a Netscape cace for anyway? Answer - to hold the bits you put on all your pages so you don't have to keep downloading them... so there's no need to bung them in a frame.

It really pees me off when frames are badly programmed and you can't break out of one...

I hate the way text "hides" behind the edges of frames, forcing you to scroll L & R as well as up & down. I hate that it is impossible to effectively print a framed web page. And I hate them for all the other good reasons already listed here by my I.H.F.C. compadres. I would not like them in a house with a mouse, in a box with a fox, etc, etc.

I agree that frames are anoying and won't put them in anything I place on the web. My bigest gripe is that they don't clear when I go to another web sight after the frames one. Is their a way to set up my sight to clear frames when it's loaded?
Side note, the web page listed is not mine....check it out especialy if you're into free speach!

know what!! image maps are soooo much better..and they look nicer to..
and well I had a computer problem..ya see..and well...all my good browsers
just got screwed so..I had to use my old MSIE...
this is sooo old that I can't view frames...and so..that increased my hatred for frames..
