I finally reached one frame infested site too many! This one (http://www.beertown.org/) told me that in order to properly view their site I needed a "modern" browser, and conviently added links to MSIE and NS! I already have NS, but can't find a way to turn off the frames!!!

I hate them. I used them once then got sick of them. They take up space, load longer, and really suck. I've seen pages which take 12 mins. to load due to the 4 frames someone put on the page.
I hate them, and would literally destroy them if i could, and any of the bastards who use 'em!

Frames does not fly in the house of Peggy Sue. They can't be supported by some browsers, takes eons to load on those that do support them, and ruin the site's overall look if used badly. (Click here for the granddaddy of all framed disasters.) Besides, there are a lot of ways of making your site easier to navigate without using frames.

Every idiot who has nothing to say on his homepage puts 2000 frames on it and thinks it looks professional. Frames are very clever when they do not allow you to scroll and you cannot click certain links! I HATE FRAMES!!

They SUCK! Especially when someone creates the frames for a larger resolution browser window than you're running! It takes A LOT of work to make a frame functional and 99.5% of the people out on the net with frames just CAN'T do it.

Frames that hang around in webrings, so that the left hand side of the screen stll has the first web site visited that used frames, then you get a second frame using site and suddenly the left hand two thirds of the screen have got the indexes from sites that you just visited and at this point...

You discover a third site using frames.. You scream, threaten bodily violence to various people who stick these things in their sites and switch off the PC about two second before the third frame pops up and causes you to hurl the innocent (Huh!!) PC through the nearest window

I personally like having the highest color setting on my computer. the problem is, a site may look ok with msie, 256 colors, 1024x768, and 20 frames on a p200 with 32m of ram, but i have netscape, 640x480, and 24bit color on a p100 and 16m ram. trying to wiew that same site looks horrible, is filled with those annoying scrollbars, grinds away at my hard drive and crashes my browser. i do appreciate a few good sites that use a single, small, borserless frame for navigation.

I really, really, really hate frames. Oddly enough, the link I followed in to this site in the first place was frames-based ... now how does this happen? Huge multicolor page, stating ad nauseum (though I suppose it really can't be said enough) "FRAMES SUCK FRAMES SUCK etc." -- and then, on that page ... FRAMES! What is that, some kind of joke? A demonstration? As if I don't know already why frames are annoying ... someone has to build a page specifically to annoy me in the process of linking me here ... I'm very irritated. Thank you for letting me vent. I feel much better now.

Granted, I know fuck all about how to MAKE pages. But I don't like other people's sites that use frames. They're cluttered, confusing, and too easy to get half-right. Then you end up carrying half of the silly page around with you even when you move on to a different page. They suck.
