Frames could very well be the most annoying Web tool ever to hit the Internet. A fine example would be the Smart Search Desktop. Every time you try to save something found there all you end up saving is the search NOT the page URL.

Frames are so pathetic, yet everyone who creates a web sire these days seems to automatically give it frames - for no reason except to have frames.

Even today (April 1997), major sites such as MS have frame bugs where you end up having the same frame inside itself.

There can't be anything that you can do with frames that you can't without, can there? I mean *really* _want to_ do. Yeah?
